Last nights meetup was very productive; Dave Dingal gave an overview about a blown rear end in one of our members' toyota tacoma on the way to expo in Redmond OR. The only lucky thing about this was that they had just parked in the camping area of expo when they found a hole in the rear cover...

Yep they do a pretty good job, this app is just that much more it also includes weather stations and cameras.

Most navigation apps have some sort of wildland fire overlay and they are fairly accurate for size and location. What those overlays dont have is detailed information about a fire, and detailed information is valuable when trying to navigate around the danger. The non profit Watch Duty...

Had a great time at Overland Expo PNW in Redmond OR. Got to catch up with old friends and meet lots of members I hadn’t met yet. Great to see all the Overland Bound flags flying. And I was able to give out most of the swag I brought. Safe travels everyone!

Sorry for having to cancel the meetup last night, a fire just to the south of us had an evacuation area that got almost to our house. Mike from M&J also has a house close by, so we decided to cancel the meeting and hunker down. See you next month!!
