I'm sure it will. My family's owned Toyota's since the early 90's, and literally if you just stay up with maintenance they'll practically never die.
I still have a 1998 Tacoma we bought it brand new, small two door 4 cylinder, it has about 270k miles on it. It's had small issues, the biggest...
So I rented a 2019 JL Rubicon for a day to do a test drive. It was fully loaded, with leather seats, active cruise control, body color hardtop, and fenders.
It was fun to drive. It was nice being high up, you really feel like your in raised box, but it was nice. It almost feels like a big rig...
I've never thought about it that way. You see all these overlanding rigs and you start to think that that's normal, and you "need" all that. lol.
But I plan on doing good old fashioned car camping with just a cooler and food.
And from what I've heard, the 3.6L Pentastar is a pretty reliable...
Yea great points. Thanks for clearing that up.
Since I'm looking to try out the Jeep, I think I could live with small components failing and needing to be replaced. As long as it doesn't leave me stranded on the mountain in the middle of no-where.

I saw your 4runner high clearance front bumper mod video a few weeks back... thats an awesome mod

I do you like the ride after putting in the ICON 2.5 lift?
Hows the long term reliability of the...
good points, yea I love the mpg on diesels, and the torque.. I wish toyota would have a diesel options... diesel with the reliability of a toyota would be awesome!...
I agree, I would go with a TRD Off-road, or off-road premium, bc down the line I would put a lift on anyways and replace the...
Great points, thanks for your input. Jeep being built in Michigan is one of the reasons I want to buy it. But they're also owned by FCA and they're a european company.
I've read through many posts on wrangler vs toyota, but it always seems like it just depends on the persons needs. So I'd like some help from you guys on deciding on which overlanding rig to buy.
I'm trying to decide between a new 2020 JLU Rubicon, or a new 2020 4runner (thinking about the...
