I am going to scout out some off site camping in the national forest. As we get closer I will put it up on the board. Personally, I am not going to pay those prices just to camp on site. I'd rather relax in the woods rather some hot, wet, or muddy field.
Have you taken it off road? I was considering one but the TAXA Cricket FB group are detailing massive cracks in the superstructure. (Door Frames especially)
Old Man, that's a step up. A 12 volt to 36 volt switch box, could power a hydraulic pack , a 6 way spool valve open centers, and remotes, now we're talking. The real challenge is getting the differential pointing up so the hydo motor could mate to it. Manual Locking Hubs, it could work...
I am more inclined to go to Lowes and purchase the necessary cartridge filters and build my own. A small pump some hose and bingo filter system. But then I make whisky and it"s always safe. :yum:
A couple of things that are really fun, the Blue Ridge Parkway is a great start with many Forest Service roads to explore. Topo maps, the Gazetteer (sp) road maps are awesome and I just signed up for GAIA , (it's a map service app). So far I am impressed with it. I live in SW Va, near NC, TN...

There are some awesome forestry roads in the Pisga National forest. I’ve been off reading most of my life, there are tons of roads off the blue ridge parkway.
