    Anyone run Naches Pass recently

I'm running it in my LJ on 31s might pull my M416 behind it. I'm not too concerned about body damage since it will be dry, I'm familiar with the typical slide into a tree truck trap we get on trails around here. My buddy doesn't have any wheeling experience but his JK has lockers so he will be fine.

    Anyone run Naches Pass recently

Trying to figure out conditions for the wagon trail over the pass. planning on going this weekend for an easy camping trip with some buddies. I pretty confident it will be dry so not worried about traction, more concerned if there are any major sections that are blocked or closed.

I've got a HP Ford Dana 44 I build for my old Cherokee that I will be swapping in and I also have a 231 box 4 rocks and a Dana 300 with flip kit that I plan to add. Basically making a redneck Rubicon.

    New (to me) LJ

First chance ive had to post some pics of the new rig. The Wife and I had been looking at JKUs and LandCruisers for the last month or so. The XJ has. 285K on it and I wanted to retire it on our terms. After test driving a few JKUs and seeing the pool of affordable LCs dry up, my wife decided she...

Greater Seattle area shop for Toyota LC

Thanks for all the help, the cheap LCs dried up pretty quick so we test drove some JKUs and the Wife didn't like them. Opened the door back up on an LJ. Picking up a 2005 6-speed LJ this afternoon.

Greater Seattle area shop for Toyota LC

I would consider for a diesel swapped Rover but other than that I don't want the unreliability. Too used to owning jeeps that I can fix with a toolbox and $100 in parts at any parts house. interesting option, I don't know how financing would work with one of those. I purchased a house last...

Greater Seattle area shop for Toyota LC

Wife and I are shopping for a larger camp rig, we just got a dog and will be having a kid within the next two years. She has put her foot down on 4 doors so that means JKU or Series 80 LC. Anyone know of a good shop for LCs in the area. I'm considering buying a high mileage LC and having the...

I am looking for info on the Fortune Creek Trail up to Gallagher head Lake

you are looking at 15-30 to the trailhead from the pavement ending and Hour+ each way on the trail if you haul I would budget 1.5-2 hours each direction on the trail if you want to take it slower.

I am looking for info on the Fortune Creek Trail up to Gallagher head Lake

That whole Cle-elum area gets pretty crowded all year, if you have a rig that will fit on the trails you can camp up the trails and have a good chance of being alone.

    North Cascades NP Lake Diablo

It was a great trip, only down side to National parks is having to camp in designated sites. I'm more of a dispersed camping fan.

    Evans Creek, WA (Past Carbonado)

The main roads through there should be fine for a stock vehicle, the 311 trail can also be run with a 4x4 SUV on 31s, I wouldn't run a truck length vehicle through those trails unless you don't mind body damage.

I am looking for info on the Fortune Creek Trail up to Gallagher head Lake

It's a pretty easy trail, you could probably get most stock 4x4 rigs up it with decent tires and wheeling experience. Did it a couple years ago with bald 31s.

    What is this part called?

The pic of the radiator didn't load when I first looked at it. I'm inclined to agree with MarkD looks like a plug for adding a switch or temp probe. Threads look similar to the switch sold below, you could go to the parts store and compare threads on switches they have in store. Just but a...

    Your favorite WA FS roads

NF-55 (Tinkham) to NF-5510 is a nice drive. You can also hit Denny Creek on the other side of I90 also NF9070 on the other side of the pass.

    What is this part called?

You can probably get away with Teflon tape and some silicone rtv just make sure you let the rtv dry before buying it in.
