    Overlanding/Camping holster

Been using the Kenai chest holder for my glock 20 for couple years backwoods carry. Last year swapped out the holster piece for one that will work w/ the glock 20 and mounted streamlight TLR-1.

Edge of the World - Flagstaff, AZ

I had no problem towing my small offroad camper back there. As long as the popup camper isn’t super long you should be ok. And yes, if its dry the van should do fine. Spots are not huge as you continue to drive back there but I had my supercrew truck and camper and was fine.

    Camping in WY/MT grizzly country

Here is my setup. Trying to figure out how the food thing is going to work out. Probably look at getting a bear-resistant cooler for the fridge stuff and chaining to a tree, dry storage containers for the others including dog food hung from a tree.

    Camping in WY/MT grizzly country

The question is going to be, can I instill all of these do's and don'ts into my wife's head. Regarding the dogs, the one (4yr 75lb chocolate labradoodle) who goes nuts around anything brown and bigger than him (ex. when he got the herd of elk all worked up with his excitement) will be the...

    Overland Expo Mountain

you shouldn't have a problem tagging along with someone as there are so many people daily going down it. Just hang out at the summit until you see a group come up that you'd like to join. We had a couple tag along with us when we went down last Sept. Not to put any pressure on you, as that's...

Patriot Campers or Turtleback Owners Question.

I can be out the door in less than 30 minutes as our Patriot is in the garage ready to go besides loading clothes totes, refilling water tanks, hooking up to tow vehicle and stopping off at the local Walmart for curbside grocery pickup. I know of 2 Turtleback owners that switched to Patriot last...

    Overland Expo Mountain

And this is why I moved to CO from FL. We got married in Breck and have ran each of the passes you mentioned and were fortunate to be down in Telluride/Ouray areas 3 different times last summer. Some were short day trips (ex. Pikes Peak, Fall River, Mt Evans). Sounds like a nice plan you have...

    Utah trip 2020

I was just down in UT and northern AZ (Sedona/Flagstaff) last week and national parks were all closed. Their websites (ex. Zion) still state they're closed. What was nice, is I had zero traffic during my 12hr drive there and back. Don't think he can do North Rim due to the dog.

    Alpine Loop, Colorado

I ran it along with Imogene Pass in Sept in my ‘17 f150 supercrew. Truck did great and the downhill descent mode came in handy.

Black Bear Pass Engineer Pass Ophir Pass In the wife’s ‘18 GC Trailhawk. Imogene Pass In my ‘17 f150 supercrew, 6” lift, 35s first and then the wife’s trailhawk. All while the real jeep (LJ) sat lonely in my garage both trips.

    propane tanks

Have (2) 11 lb tanks up front on the trailer one on each side. Use them for grill, stove and if we’re running additional portable heater in tent. Have them filled at Tractor Supply for minimal $ and after 6 trips this summer, only had to refill them once before our last trip.

On board air or portable tank

I picked up a Viair 400p automatic for overlanding and after this last trip was not impressed with the fill times. I have a 10lb co2 when Im in my jeep but this trip was with my truck (35s), wife’s GC (33s) and trailer (33s) and airing up was brutal. I need to find a better quicker solution for...
