It will be a trip for the summer. I used to live in boise and visit frequently. I am wanting to make a week long trip. Might do the trans American trail through Oregon.

Was searching the web trying to find a way to get from Seattle to Boise on fire/dirt roads for a summer trip when I came across an app for Android called Postholer Trails + GPS. Has anyone ever used it? is it better, worse, or the same as GAIA? https://www.postholer.com/theApp

Think I will be heading out to Longmire/Paradise to see if I can find anything fun to do. Will be taking my scale crawler and dragging my buddy with me. Anyone is free to join. Not sure when we will head out or even have a definite plan yet.

my phone is an iphone. I found out that gaia doesnt play very well with win 10. I guess for now I will have to steal one of my wifes iPads. Going to be mounting everything up with Ram mounts. Would much rather just use my laptop/tablet, but they dont have the app built. Hope they do it soon.

That bumper looks pretty good for a home grown. I definitely like the looks of that latch over the small ones that come on all the pre built bumpers with a swing away. Your wheels look pretty unique, are they really a chain pattern?

weell if it not usable through carplay yet, how would I go about using my surface pro for gps navigation? Would that be an easy thing to do?
