    Snorkels?

Living in Montana and putting many off road miles on and doing some creek & river crossings I still have not needed on. However every year we do a 10 day desert trek, yeah one with the dust filter would be really nice. The OEM one gets extremely dirty.

Yes I have posted that pic in another thread. I built both of them. Taken them on the Rubicon Trail even. So they have been well tested.

    Expo Trailer w/RTT or Squaredrop?

8 minute setup. You would just go with the 4 person tent instead of the 2+.

Let’s be honest; Roof Top Tent- Yay or Nay?

I built these trailers. Both have even been on the Rubicon Trail. The one on the right is my proto type. We beat the hell out of it. If you are interested I can build you a trailer for about 10K depending on what you want. A base trailer that you would accessorize would be $4500.

Let’s be honest; Roof Top Tent- Yay or Nay?

I love my RTT. Quick and easy. I am a firm believer in having it on a trailer though so you can go adventure. My wife and I can have camp set up in about 5 - 8 minutes. This is really nice for those bad weather days. There are multiple problems with ground camping. Main reason is not being flat...

    2 Specific Questions

I ran a 7 plug to the trailer. Put a 30amp fuse and used 12 gauge wire ran a line from my Jeep battery to the plug. On the trailer side just ran it to the positive side of the batteries. No controller needed as your alternator regulates the charge. Then you can get a fuse bus for about $10 to...

CVT also has used RTTs some times. Also why would you need solar? I can easily go 5 days on my dual battery set up even with my 95qt fridge freezer on. I also have power coming from my vehicle so it recharges the batteries on the trailer while I drive.

Awnings and RTT's on the trails..

Yes we leave them all the time. Had 1 idiot steal a chair. But just gave the local sheriff the photos and it was a done deal. He was like "you made this too easy". lol
