    Overland Hound

Got two new overland hounds in July. They were stray German shepherd that's been living on the streets of a small town. The smaller one, Lola wasn't doing too good. She was skinny, her fur was matted and she was tired. She was hiding in the back of her crate for about 3 days before she felt she...

That's the plan right now, just need to get a dog sitter. Would love to bring them, but bought a broken German Shepherd who will start puking her guts out 30min into the trip. It shouldn't take me more than 3 hours to get up there, 3:30 max. Waking up at 7 am counts as sleeping in for me, so...

Yday there was a community cleanup @ Wharton. I didn't know about it, but apparently they collected over 500lb trash. They also removed the fallen trees from Washington road. For what it's worth, I cleared D-S road early sunday morning.

That Cherokee is more capable than I thought it would be. It's easy to drive with its different settings, it got a mud, crawl and decent modes and more. My wife is pretty confident driving it through some rough mud as long as I go first. E locker only works in 4x4 low tho, which is annoying.

Me wanting to lift my truck and put some meatier tires on it used to be "dumb". When we picked up the jeep I said " let's lift it and put some meatier tires on it" and she said "sure" and even suggested we should put a winch on my truck! Recovery gear is now a justifiable expense instead of a...
