    RTT Back to Ground Tent

Absolutely! If you want to be off the ground go that route. I simply toss it on the floor of the tent and call it a night. It's bomber, warm and so comfy. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using OB Talk

    RTT Back to Ground Tent

As far as comfort and sleeping pads go I highly recommend you find a REI or other outdoor store and try laying on the Exped Mega Mat. With vehicle-based travel where space/weight is not a huge concern, this thing is the shit. I'm currently waiting to snag the DUO version for camping with two...

One extreme to the other. 2000 miles. SoCal - Baja - Tahoe

DO IT! Honestly, I love it down there, be it the Pacific side or the Gulf, either way you slice it you are bound to have fun. Great food, relatively cheap and friendly folks. I have NEVER had an issue down there. Don't go looking for trouble and you likely won't find any.

One extreme to the other. 2000 miles. SoCal - Baja - Tahoe

Started off the second leg on Tuesday evening 6/30. From San Clemente we gunned it for Lone Pine, CA. Setting up camp in Alabama Hills around 1 AM we were able to snag of the better spots on the east side of Alabam Hills tucked behind some large boulders and well protected from any wind. The...

Whew! Been a hell of a couple weeks! Just getting home from a couple weeks on the road and figured I would share it with you all. Hit the road mid afternoon on Wednesday 6/23 from San Clemente and headed south for Calexico. Made great time all the way down right until just a few miles from...

I have it's bigger brother (400W). Gives ya 100 more Watts and a couple more of the lower power USB outlets. So far it works great! Also, comes with gator clips as well in case you want/need to go directly to the batt! Bestek 400W

    GAIA app user question

I usually use the open road map, USFS 2016 and at times USGS. I have also imported other maps and used an online tool to reference point / set it up to import into Gaia. Time consuming but works. I did a Baja Norte map that was decently beneficial to have. Sent from my iPad using OB Talk

    Gaia Pro Users

I notice the auto paths work great on some layers and slim or not at all on different layers. None the less I still like the app and its desktop route planning. As long as your are relatively close to your route on the marking I don't see a huge issue. Gaia definitely takes some getting used to...
