Sharing GPX Files, Routes, and Specific Locations

Like many of you, I have spent more than a few hundred hours collating, analyzing, and virtually viewing tracks all over the Western US. While I am unlikely to share those en masse with anyone besides family, I am happy to share track suggestions, GPX files, and the results of my own...

I have had good luck with BackCountry Nav Pro on my Samsung S3 tablet. I have downloaded each Western state to a Zoom14 and/or 15 in separate files. It's a solid program that works well off-grid but does not have all the bells and whistles of Gaia. I use Caltopo and it's integrations with...

    Off-line Tablet

Sharing GPX Files, Routes, and Specific Locations

I would hope that in this community, at least between members, some sharing would be a benefit of association. The problem perhaps is sharing on a broader social platform.

Backcountry Navigator is the most capable platform, IMO, if you use an Android phone or tablet. The interface is an little clunky but the developer is working on a new version that will sync better desktop and mobile platforms. But it's not mature yet... Maybe by summer 2019. The current...
