I hear it takes some time to “tune” the wind adjustment. I scoured Craigslist and found mine. Once tuned, the noise isn’t that bad. With the RTT, I didn’t notice any more. You may find a rack nearby that is assembled and tuned like I did. Its usually folks moving up to an over landing trailer.

I have a stealth Gobi with a Smittybuilt Overlander XL on it. It spans the roof. It's great.
