Took my Highlander there a month ago just to test its capabilities. I made it around a lot of the green easy trails just by going slow and good line choice. Went down a rocky hill I probably shouldn't have, but ended up making it back up in sport mode 1st gear, trac-controls off and snow mode...
That was my fault on my end. I went and changed the share/visibility setting to public.
OVERLAND ROUTES: Everyone should be able to view now! Here is a small collection of Midwest/TN KY IN routes
TURKEY BAY: And here is a color coded Park map of Turkey Bay OHV park from the main easy routes...
I don't even think it would be necessary to have GPS tracking/location capabilities within the map or app, save that for when you click on the route and actually download the gpx file onto a device. This could just be helpful as linework on the map to see what is around when pre-planning a trip...
I know it shows starting points of trails. I think it would visually be super awesome if the entire gpx line populated the map, that way when pre-planning a trip you can just scroll around the map and see the physical route. something like REI's MTB Project app like this picture. for easy...
I've been putting together a map of some GPX files I am finding here My Maps. And some offroad parks as well that I have been to. Take a look here near Brown County/ Yellowood, that is a lot of gravel road. or hop on gravelmap.com
I think this defender looks like a Kia Soul, but crossovers are decently capable these days, still not a true BOF offroad experience though. The real defender replacement is the Bollinger B1 EV. That thing looks like a defender, removeable softtop, no doors, so many configurations! So excited...
Makes my butt sag a lot, looking into getting King Springs shipped from Australia to throw on the OEM struts. Not a whole lot I can do with McPhearson struts on all 4 corners. Next up, some smaller wheels (19" stock pictured to 17" aftermarket) some nice bronze wheels with some A/T's will look...
Hey Michael, new here and I just got my OB badge and number yesterday! I thought membership might unlock a map similar to the gpx trail maps on the REI MTB Project or AllTrails App (go to map section on either app). You simply zoom in and around the map and it shows the entire linework gpx of...
I think a map in the app or on the website would be super helpful that had approved gpx routes on the map. Something similar to the REI MTB Project app or AllTrails, you can literally zoom around the map and it has all the mountain bike routes' lines on the map, with a downloadable gpx for it...
Thanks! It may not be too offroad worthy but love it as my daily and hauling my gear! Definitely a softroader for sure. I hope it makes it to 500,000 miles!
Scottie from Indy here. 1 year left for my Architecture masters at Ball State.
Love dirtbiking at Haspin Acres, Turkey Bay, Badlands.
Always mountain biking in Indy, Anderson, and New Castle
Kayaking in Muncie, Indy and Brookville.
And camping just about anywhere.
Taken my Highlander off the...
Hey everyone! Just joined with my crossover. Slowly making it a bit more capable for hauling my outdoor gear places
2) Location: Central Indiana
3) Rig: 2008 Toyota Highlander AWD as my daily driver and outdoor gear hauler/ car camper
4) Been riding dirtbikes since I was 4, atv's, and buggy's...
I own 4 of these knock offs, they work great. Super stiff and hard plastic that isn't going to break on you. For the price you can't beat these, I will say they are super thick and do not stack well, but its the sacrifice for getting the cheaper product. Used em a couple times. I have even used...
