I've started with some mods.. I've mounted led lights in the boot and wired them to the rear wash wipe ( just to test how they will go) then they will be fully wired into some aux suitched on the roof lights at the front.

Wonder if anyone has any ideas in how the rails are mounted on this xc70. Only way I can see is they are bonded to the window somehow.

It's becoming a pain. So the engine service light comes on,when ever it feels like it. What I've found is the swirlfap motor rod is disconnected. I've done a temp fix and see if that stops the issues. Some say it makes the car go like no boost some say limp home mode. On the diag it shows boost...

Well at last I've got it a bit dirty

It's been a bit of a pain today... So engine service required pops up arrrggg. Cleaned out the egr. Throttle body and maf. Still the same... Next up iam going to clamp off the engine mount pipe and see what that does. Or I might have a boost leak.. Ohhh the fun of a volvo.

Well heres my xc70 as you know a barn fi d here in sunny Cornwall. Lights on roof rack sorted and just got to tweak it and make it carry my weight and will be happy next up tyres and a few more toys.

Here in UK I've not seen anybody that's done mod to a xc, over here it's all about the landrover and off roading. Main one for me is the roof rack and mount either a basket on it or make my own with a plastic pallet and recycle it. Means then I can use it to stand on when photographing aviation...

It's a real headache as I've had to pull fuse 23 as the haldex is causing issues. But it's still a great car it's the 3rd one I've had and enjoy every minute of it. Just need to mod it and get it looking rough and ready.

Thought I better say hi.in the UK with a barn find of a xc70 2006 picked up for a cheap 325 UK £. Going to be slowly making it a bit different as no one over really bothers with modifications on them in the UK.
