Pics or it didn't happen haha. Yes, the further South you go on Skyline Drive it is less maintained. A lot of the side trails tend to be more difficult as well if you venture down those.
The San Rafael Swell area is all BLM land. It is Northwest of Moab, North of Capitol Reef. It runs probably 35 miles North and South of I-70. there is a good balance of maintained dirt along with high clearance 4wd roads.
I'm headed to San Rafael Swell end of the month, March 30th- April 1st. Probably going to run Devil's Racetrack again that's a cool trail, possibly going up Mexican Mountain Road as well.
Installing some 4.88's and a ARB rear locker need to put them to work haha
New guy checking in. Currently reside in Salt Lake City, Utah. I've done 2 trips to the San Rafael Swell state park so far this year. White Rim Trail in Canyonlands already scheduled for Labor Day weekend. Would like to do the Skyline Drive trail soon, hopefully the snow has cleared enough...
Skyline Drive? Hoping the snow will be gone up there soon.
I've done 2 trips to San Rafael Swell so far this year. Will be damn hot down there in July though haha
