The rig is coming along!

This was taken on forest road 250, I think it’s called the Alamosa Conjeos route. It’s a very scenic drive. More photos to come!

We needed up staying in the Pagosa area. We were tent camping and the rain didn’t show to let up in that area. Wife and I were so thrilled to have gone to this section that we can’t wait to make a trip back up there, this time to do the more popular trails. We had such a blast!

Thanks for the update, believe you me, I was constantly checking the routes on the forest page. People can get just a little too excited out there.

I’m Colorado bound right now, with my family of 3. I’m really excited to finally get on some trails. We’ll be doing some easy trails though for our first time. We’re thinking about the Alpine loop indefinitely with some scenic trails around the area. Thanks again for the suggestion!

I’ll definitely check that out. Thank you! It’s our first time on a weeklong exploration. We’ll be doing the lite rated trails this go around.

Do you recommend any places to eat around Ouray, Silverton, and Durango? I’m heading out to that area next week with my family. Thanks in advance!

The Subaru platform was my second choice for an overland build as well. The price point, mileages, and upgrade parts were the focal point. Have fun in your build.
