The spread of frequencies isn’t really that wide. I’d think the SWR would be closer across the band.
Do you have a bare metal connection for ground at the antenna? Even a short piece of metal braid should be fine as a jumper.
What is the SWR? With excess cable I’ve always taken the approach of lazy sweeps under seats and carpet. I don’t like to cut coax I’d I can avoid it, you never know when another 24” might be needed.
Tread Lightly. I moved to a different site after the first night to avoid tearing up an already muddy road coming and going every day.

I did an axle flip to help my ex get in easier, so it was dropped 4” a while back. I wanted to undo that when I changed the axle last year, but the new one has a crown that won’t allow the mounting I want.
