    Jeep Owners Represent!

I opened this thread to look at Jeeps but I ended up with a bunch of trailer envy.

    Need assistance with picking lift/tires

I don't know what you're budget is or what kind of lift you are looking at. If you do a lift with 33"s, they are going to look tiny under there. You don't really need more than a leveling kit for 33"s. I would get the tires on there and see what you think before going with the lift. Or, do the...

    Need assistance with picking lift/tires

For the win! These tires are awesome. I have them on my Jeep. I don't hear a peep from them on the road and they perform surprisingly well for an AT off-road. I think they are the best all terrain out there right now.

    Jeep trailmaster 2

I don't have the 2. I have the 1. Whether its worth $500 is debatable but you'd probably spend at least $100 to program your speedo with the bigger tires. I like it because I can monitor my transmission temps. It has a crawl mode which is basically a delayed throttle response, that I think is...

Arkansan vacationing in Colorado needs trail advice for July 2018.

You are in for a great trip. We rented a Condo in Ouray right next to the river. It was great. I slept with the door cracked every night just to hear the sound of the rushing water. Kidde Fire Extinguisher Recall....Important Please Read

I would suggest at least 5lb. Avoid the extinguishers with plactic handles, etc. The extinguishers with metal parts are generally better quality.

Ground, Cot or Air Mattress: Make and model please.

No, I haven’t. I think they are really cool but unless I get a trailer to mount one on, I don’t think it’s an option for me. I prefer the idea of being able to set up Camp and leave it for a few days.

Ground, Cot or Air Mattress: Make and model please.

I am 6’5” 230 and a side sleeper. Every time I camp, I wake up in the night and I swear my ass weighs 100lbs because it’s ok the ground if I’m on an air mattress, on a bar if it’s a cot or I feel like a folding table if I’m in a hammock. I’m a side sleeper and can’t seem to find anything that...

Member Introductions *NEW MEMBERS INTRODUCE YOURSELF*

I became aware of the idea of overlanding a few months ago. I love trails, the outdoors, cooking outside, etc., and gear, don’t even get me started on how much I love mods and gear. I’ve never found a comfortable way to sleep though. I have back and neck issues. I’ve tried cots, air...
