    Looks good, I've been thinking about doing the same. If you would have made your rack as well, would you have fabricated the brackets or bought them? I've been looking at repurposing mirror relocation brackets.

    Electrical Metalic Tubing. It's the electrical conduit you see used in a lot of buildings. You can pick it up a the big box hardware stores.

    Overlanding with a Kayak

    Great thread. The wife wants to get a kayak. I've gotten pretty fond of SUPs. A buddy and I are going on a 90ish mile stand up paddle board trip next month. Heading down river, will have to portage at two damns plus whatever pops up. Google maps is great for planning but it will only get you so far.

    That's great. I do a lot of backpacking as well, and dehydrate my own meals. To experiment with which ones work well I take my various concoctions to work and have them for lunch. Agree that being comfortable with your setup is a valuable.
