Oh my goodness Steve! So thankful to hear that you made it through that ordeal. Praying that your doctors were able to properly identify the cause and provide you with guidance to prevent that from occurring again. Glad to hear that you are relaxing at home. We are in the States right now...
Yall are a wealth of information, I appreciate it. Ill take a look and see what I can find. I appreciate the comment about the LT rated tires. I had seen some on a deal but also seemed a little much. Appreciate your wisdom!
I too disagree. You can’t virtue signal when you’re not being virtuous because you don’t have a choice. If one were to be attacked by multiple bad guys (common in Houston) having an AR in hand will change the dynamic of the confrontation. More likely in the victims favor.
If you choose not to carry, IMO you are and should be perfectly free to not do so. At home, when seconds count, the po-po are minutes away. Can you imagine if those minutes were hours? I’ve done that and I pull a trailer.
Looking back on this conversation, the question was more about “who does carry” and not so much why. Now that it’s cooled down, I’m starting to get ready. Thanksgiving at Magnolia Beach.
Do I carry-yup. Will I carry-you betcha. I have an emergency tow kit, extra propane, a med kit, a...
I was planning on the 3in because I can option HD. I have a roof top tent so the HD springs will help with the load and the camping gear I would though in the jeep.

Thanks for the insight and I hope that trip goes really well. Sounds like a...
It would seem my favorite sport is spending money. I have thousands sunk into all sorts of stuff that I hardly do. Snowboards and gear for the wife and I to go maybe once a year at best. Professional level paintball guns in a duffel bag that hasn't even been opened in 10 years... I...
My lift came together slowly over time as my budget allowed. If I were starting from scratch I would recommend 245-75-16 tires first, then recovery gear and skid plates. If you are satisfied with the pilots performance after that I would purchase the HRG 3” ultimate lift and possibly rear air...
I tried one of the local tire shops and they did ok but one of the front wheels was a bit on the maxed side out but otherwise, the alignment was within spec. But when I did my roadtrip back to Portland, Rallitek corrected the alignment to being nearly perfect, since they know all of the parts...
We have the same trim. YES. Seats—for me—are very comfortable at 6'2" both front and back. Very comfortable to get in and out of as well. Hope you get your truck built fast!
