Looking for seat cover options for my 1998 Toyota 4Runner. My seats are in good shape for being 20+ years old, but I am noticing the "wear marks" more and more every day. Plus, I'd like to offer a little protection, especially to the back seat, when my adventure partner (Labrador Retriever)...

Looks like a very well thought out post. I would venture to guess that maintenance and repair costs on the LR would be significantly higher. I'm sure others here could chime in on that.

Has anyone had any experience with a FireDisc Grill? It looks to be a slightly more expensive version of a Tembo Tusk. It does have a little bit of a side wall to help keep food in and it does seem to come in at least a couple of different sizes. Other than that, I'm not sure of the...

I find myself using a trucker's hitch most often followed by the Prusik knot.

I love the "hiss" of my Coleman but not the mess I seem to always create when I use it. I also have some LEDs that I run off a Goal Zero Yeti and seem to be much better for my "old" eyes.

Welcome to the forum from West Texas and congrats on the rig. Head out to Big Bend NP/Big Bend Ranch SP for a little more "hardcore" overlanding, as compared to the Hill Country. And check out fellow forum member @Laud's epic trip around the state for an over the top Texas overlanding...
