I go with two methods, wherever the car has been or what it has done to it AND whatever makes me smile when I see it. So basically whatever lol
Inside the swing gate I have a few including places, parts, and even YouTubers I follow @Lifestyle Overland, @TrailRecon, and Venture4WD. I'm still...
As much as this build sounds awesome. Two things come to mind that impact me often: costs QUICKLY double budgets and modifications always have trade-offs.
As such, I'd recommend finding a used trailer, something super small that you can stand up in and possibly something that needs a full gut...
I'm planning on attending again this year. Just hoping for some good weather like last year.
My wife and kiddo may come too and in addition to the expo, may use it as a base camp and go explore Enchanted Rock during part of the day Saturday.
Great question. I found a spare mount from Carry-On, the trailer manufacturer, through Amazon that looked pretty beefy and able to hold the spare tire.
I then bolted it on the tailgate at the cross-section of the top bar and one of the vertical strength risers. It made for a very rigid...

It towed great from Houston to Ouray and back and handled the trail to Animas Forks great!
It was our first trip with a 1-yr old so we brought a large...
I'll second the question of the need for a permanent second spare. With all the repair kits, roadside assistance, and running E-tires that are less susceptible to punctures, I do wonder how needed it is for regular trips and daily driving. I've seen some people carry additional tires, axles...
Looks great! I love the pictures of it in front of the dealer with the older and newer models. Really shows the transformation LR went through over the years. The LR3s and LR4s were definitely the last of a dying breed.
