    What is your favorite general purpose knot for overlanding?

    Awesome video! I love the marlinskpike hitch. It's such a versatile knot. I knew 3 of those knots on the video,; now i know more. I'm also a big fan of an alpine butterfly and prusik. Loop on the end, loop in the middle, and a a cinch knot and you can tie down anything.

    Great trip! Thanks for letting us crash the party late and unannounced on Friday. I honestly believe we had a much better time with this group than the group we were supposed to hook up with and i survived with only one tick coming home with me. Plus my buddy ordered his OB badge last night.

    Awesome. That was one of the places I was thinking. Either there or just forward of the driver's door. I imagine it'll hold up better in the rear though.

    Hey Folks! New guy here from Ashland, VA. I used to do a fair amount of mild off roading in my Wrangler when I was younger, but ventured away from it when I started adulting. Now I'm slowly building up my 2011 Nissan xTerra in hopes of doing some overland type stuff. It's by no means lean...
