Greetings from Lincoln! The Land Cruiser is still a work in progress at the moment. Should be finished up with the LS swap next month and have the bugs worked out of it. Planning on some overlanding next year. Would like to hit the Mojave Trail.

Anybody start planning any trips for this summer? I don’t know if the Halsey trip ever happened, but if this is the year, I’m down. Rig won’t be ready for a couple more months, but I’ll keep an eye on the thread.

Where did you get a propane adapter? I have several old stoves and lanterns that worked several seasons ago, but I have been plagued with problems and can’t get them to work reliably. I would like to convert at least one stove to keep in my rig.

All the info I have found to date says the 4L60 transmission is the better choice due to the 4L80 having softer shift points. What I have been considering is finding a TBI engine and using the original transmission from the cruiser. Doing this would save me a ton of money while still retaining...
