We actually have property in the ANF. There are hundreds of roads, and Logging trails to explore. I know where you were camping by the GPS. Very awesome area.

I do not know the Canadian version of the FCC, but FRS and GMRS are shared along the border. Find out by going to your comms federal webpage to see what you can legally use. Just because the US uses it, doesn't mean the apartment upstairs can use.it.

The FTM-350 has been out for more than 3 years now. The FTM-400 has been out for 2 years. The APRS module is an option just like the Bluetooth module.

I like it alot. Easy to use. Can't find many used. And the APRS module is hard to find if you buy one without it. Check me out on APRS.fi N3MFL-9
