• Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance this week and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

  • I have a 2007 dodge Dakota that I am planning to do an overland build with. If you have any ideas or such let me know, I could use a lot of advice, I’m only 19 and I’ve been wanting to do a build for a long time

If the 3rd gen dakotas are like the 2rd gens, you will struggle to find aftermarket suspension upgrades. You'll probably need to fabricate a lot, but don't let it stop you. You'll have a one of a kind rig when it's all said and done

It’s really difficult to find suspension parts, I don’t know too much about mechanic work but I do have friends with a lot of experience so I’m getting a lot of help from them. I’ve been trying to find parts every where and no one has anything, it really surprised me but Dakotas aren’t known for over landing, which is why I wanna do it because I know it’ll be a hell of a rig and I’m excited. Appreciate the feed back!
