I have recently fitted a hood / bonnet net to my Isuzu D-max AT35. Installed to carry the such like recovery gear or camping chairs / tables or just wet dirty items that either one doesn’t want in there rig or taking up valuable space. Am wandering what people’s thoughts are.?Attached photos of...

Totally agree. A few more upgrades to go on which I will post about when done. Looking at doing a walk around video once I am done as there has been a vast amount of work done on the inside as well.

After having fitted the RTT, I have decided that it just wasn’t right for me or my setup. So will soon be in the market. I will be sticking to the Oztent setup along with Foxwing awning. Catch you later fellow travellers and explorers!

Ok I have been silent for quite a wee while on OB due to various reasons that have restricted my involvement. I have however continued my following of what’s been going on and extensively been working on my overlander (BIG RED) - The truck is now multifunctional that I use as a daily driver...

Finally have my new RTT on. Looking great. Have to do a few adjustments and fit the awning and move some other gear about. Job done

So having read through everyone’s responses I get the general impression that duel band is the way to go! So what duel band radios are people’s choice? Hand held or vehicle mounted and do the duel band require a simple licence?

That was my exact thinking. Can just throw the winch into the tub when going off-roading - ready there if needed. Permanently installing the wiring in though using Anderson plugs.

I am staying away from winch bumpers at the moment. I have a 2” receiver on the front aswell as the back so can use a portable winch mount.

Do you h Do you have parking sensors and camera currently on the bumper? Let me know how you get on fitting the new one
