For me it was just to early on the day with no idea of how long people would be there. I don't get of work till 3 in the morning. So I would have been running straight from work and not having in sleep. Maybe a little latter meet time.
With the holiday weekend coming up I want to get out and do some camping and star gazing. My problem is that here in Iowa the only place you can camp is in campgrounds. So my question is am I not a good overlander if I don't want to be around the crowds that are packed in these campgrounds...
Hello everyone. I didn't get out this weekend, sadly, but I spent the time working on a piece of gear for my Cherokee. It's not done yet but is pretty close. Hopefully this addition will make getting out a little bit easer.
Burlington. It's on the Mississippi River in the lower southeast part of the state. This is what it looks like right now. Have some plans for it spring and hope to have it in the spring.
Not very many people from Iowa on here. I'm thinking about becoming a member, I have been working on a overland trailer for my Jeep on and off the last 5 years. This group has kind of re sparked that desire to get out and explore more.
