Got my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon on Christmas eve last year (2020) and getting it ready for some serious overlanding! I got to get out of Florida and onto some high ground!!
I hope you had a reasonable outcome. I flew the Jeep airlines many years ago as well as Harley airlines a few times. Survived them all with a few bumps and bruises but not recommended if I can avoid it!
I'm way down here in Sarasota Florida but I think I may have to come join you guys up in Alabama when I can. I know there are some beautiful country up there!
I may have to try this with the 2007 Escalade I have now! I already have all terrain tires on it and some pin striping on the sides from some off road adventures in the Ocala National Forest. It got me through a few mud holes as is... but hmmmm.... maybe a lift in the future!
I see this was posted a few years ago but I have a 2007 Escalade that I just may do this with instead of selling to clear my driveway! I’ve already pin striped the sides doing some off road adventures in the Ocala National Forest which is some of the only public land available in Florida!
I learned to drive in a 1948 Willys Jeep, had a CJ5 in high school, have and Escalade with all terrain tires and racks for my kayak (LOL).... Time to get back into a Jeep even though Florida overlanding can be handled pretty well by the Escalade!!!
