I am a US Navy veteran of the Gulf war and both of my sons served in the 173rd Airborne Combat brigade in Afghanistan. Unfortunately, my younger son was killed in action on 8/31/10 in Logar Province Afghanistan by an IED along with 3 other heroes. My wife and I honor his life by living our lives through adventure. We respect and honor the Military and all veterans and we stand for the flag and kneel for the fallen. We are patriots through and through. We try to patronize veteran owned companies and we are God fearing followers of Christ. We believe in God, country and family. We are ardent supporters of the constitution of the United states and I took an oath the defend this country against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and that will never stop. I love my wife more than anything in this world. She is my rock and is the strongest person I know.
We have been outdoors people for 25 years together. We have hiked, biked and camped anywhere and everywhere. We were mostly backpackers for years in love the Sierras and mammoth, our favorite get away. We are new to overlanding but we feel we are taking our knowledge of the outdoors with us in that we prepare for anything and everything. Nothing worse than being stranded in the middle of nowhere because you were unprepared. We look forward to meeting others and adventuring together. We have a 2014 Silverado that I am outfitting and we just bought a badass OGT trailer the Expedition 2.0. See you all out there!!
