I won't be joining you on this trip, but will be going to the same area soon. The DNR website is not clear on whether camp fires are allowed - at least I didn't find much info. Is it? Do I need a permit, and if so, where can I get it? Thanks and enjoy the trip!

I've seen a comment somewhere about needing an ORV permit for parts of the route. Unfortunately, I can't find the discussion any more. What is needed? ORV permit? NW Forest Pass? Anything else? Thanks guys, see you soon!
