I just bought a Bluetooth 4.0 battery monitor from amazon called BM2. This thing is amazing! for 25 bucks, peace of mind on battery level, charging state, alternator health, etc...

I am going to try one that has a controller and an anti-reverse charge diode on a separate battery to see how effective it is, before it goes on my rig. CYA right

+1 on the Ignik. I love it, my wife loves it, just enough for two. Make sure you know what your expectations are! It's no raging fire like a pomoly stove and going to keep you warm in -20 with wind! It will however take the edge off and add the ambiance! I would also recommend a bigger...
