US based skoolie heading to the UK and beyond

It was great meeting you and your wife as well. I did buy some at REWE but I will try some at a restaurant soon. Heading down to Frankfurt tomorrow and then to the BMW Museum in Munich for Saturday.

Sounds great! No big plans or rush. Should I bring some roadkill or actually buy some meat?? :-)

I'm in Ghent right now, parked for the night. I'm flexible on my schedule, what's up?

Yes, the DT466E, a great engine. To get it completely usable was probably about $20k all in. I'm just over in Claremont so not far, however I will be headed to Europe with the whole rig in June.

Mont Blanc and Frejus tunnel question

Wow, thanks for all that information! I will make sure to keep it handy for the trip. As for the details on my bus, it is registered and titled here in the US as a Motorhome. The GVW of the chassis is 29,000 lbs, but registered with a GVW of 25,900 lbs to get around a Commercial Vehicle rule...

Mont Blanc and Frejus tunnel question

I will be shipping my 2003 International skoolie over to Europe this coming summer. My plan is to explore for an extended amount of time. I've been making lists of places to check out and I'll probably want to use the tunnels through the Alps at some point. Besides being slightly taller than...

    Newbie from NH

Hi from the wilds of NH. I have a full sized skoolie so I'm not going into the deep woods or narrow trails, but I do like to do wild camping. My skoolie is fully self contained (water, solar, heat, etc.) and I have done a number of week long trips and recently a 30 day trip. I'm pretty well...

Thanks Chuck. The Monkey is a re-do of the Z50. Honda has lots of mini-motos these days. The new Dax looks like the updated version of the CT70.
