Yes I’ll be fabin something up like rock slingers. The van was original with the 4X4 but the 1973 setup was really lack of suspension. Finished updating most the front end. I’m hoping to jump back on it soon.
To me it’s not odd, but many think so. Put the project on hold for six months though due to a house that destroyed everything to complete the build besides the van. Thankful I didn’t lose it.
The pass we took was called Daisy Pass Trail. There are several trail branches off it that that had snow on them at the end of June some nice flat places off the trail to set up camp on both.
Several outside Cooke City Montana. A couple of easy to moderate trails leading to old abandoned mining sites. I camped out at Daisy lake as well. It also outside Cooke.
I have a Pintle on a M416 trailer and agree they’re bulletproof. As far as for articulation and old vet showed me that with proper lubing of the lunette and not have the spring cranked tight you could barrel roll the trailer and go crazy places with that setup. Still the max coupler is a sweet setup
