Here is a link to about 25 videos of the complete trail. Did this trip about 1 month ago. No cell phone service in that area. Took us about 2 hrs to max patch, but I’m a slow driver.

I did hurricane creek a month or so ago with 100% stock tacoma OR with no problems Others on this site have had a tough time even with lifts.

I’m interested in hitting Richland rd. Do you mind if I tag along with you guys? I have a stock tacoma OR, think that will be ok for this trail?

Finally did hurricane creek. It’s not bad at all. I really liked the trail and had a lot of fun. Went up to max patch to watch sunset and do some star gazing, beautiful. The trail was longer than expected. Took us 1 hr and 40 minutes from start of trail to max patch. Highly recommended...

We are setup to go this Sunday morning. We are heading up to max patch afterwards, doing some trail magic for AT through hikers (we are a bunch of AT hikers). You welcome to join us. Just let me know. I’m headed up smokies on Friday and probably won’t have cell service.

I think I was there when I hiked Appalachian trail. I remember a big climb out of hot springs and taking a break in the tower. If it’s the tower I’m thinking of. Didn’t know I could drive there. Thanks for sending!

Are there any other trails in that area that anyone could recommend? I tried to find info on flat branch, but found nothing. Thanks for the help.

Looks like a change in plans for me. Will be doing the trip next weekend instead of the 18/19th. Anyone up for a mother’s day run up hurricane creek?

I’m so confused. Not sure what to do about my trip to hurricane creek in a couple of weeks. Some so it’s a piece of cake and others say it’s tough. Anyone interested in meeting up on the morning of the 19th?

Linville gorge is beautiful! That is easy access camping. Not much for off roading experience, easy road, even for Toyota camery. Your kids look young and would enjoy linville caverns, very close to this camp site. I would like to learn more about flat branch fr288. Can’t find anything on...

Interesting. I was going to do this trail back in the winter with Nateandkate. He called the trail “chilled”. I have been at uwharrie lately and am planning a trip to this trail very soon. I almost went this past weekend instead of URE. Please describe what and how crazy your experience was...

No sweat. I’m thinking about heading that way on feb 3rd and camping overnight. Do the trail on the 3rd or 4th. On another note... I’m trying to find a list of trails, but can’t find one anywhere. I know of the following; Richmond rd Uwharrie Brown mountain Outer banks Do you know any others??

Cool. I’ve never been on the trail, but love max patch. I don’t know how aggressive the trail is. Do you think stock tacoma Off road will make it???
