Recently repatriated back to Canada from Mongolia, settling into Cambridge........ Though i still work overseas, so its not really settling i guess. Looking forward to some possible adventures.

I use the soviet military maps app which work great here in Mongolia and gives me a good TOPO map. The issue is that its quite dated. I supplement this with my Garmin Montana loaded with Open Street Maps which is actually really detailed here and shows roughly 95% of all camel trails. Navigating...

Just a few pics from this summer. Was able to use the winch once, poor guy was stuck in that stream for about 5 hours before i showed up. Amazing place to go off the beaten path here.
