Hello Overland Bound!
I have been Overlanding since 1956 when I took my first trip with my folks at 18 months old.
Our Willys Jeep and Teardrop Trailer have been in our Family longer than I have.
The 1947 Kenskill Teardrop joined the Family in 1952 and the new Willys Jeep CJ3B in 1953.
We were lucky to travel the primitive backroads of Arizona, Utah and the entire southwest throughout the 50',60's,70's ... We made our final Family trip together in the mid 90's in my 1984 Jeep Scrambler (yes, it is still in the family, too)
I am currently enjoying wonderful events with the Vintage Travel Trailer crowd in our original rig. That's where I discovered Overland Bound, thanks to Frank Powell.
Fun to discover this site and see that the same kind of spirit that inspired my Dad to take those trips "Back in the Day"
is continuing and growing.
