Texans moving to middle Tennessee...
Nice post, glad to have a Texan in Tennessee. Now to help answer some of this the best I can. (I am no expert) TN does not have the most abundant overloading locations. Especially middle TN. I live just south of Murfreesboro, TN. The best options for us is the Cherokee National Forrest that also...- Landblazer

Rack options
As awful as this may sound I would recommend looking into having one made by a local welder. I have heard a lot of bad stuff about “modular” racks that bolt and piece together. Things rattle apart on the trails over the years. Welded tube does not however. May ever be cheaper than a modular kit...- Landblazer
