Nice video and great pictures :-) Those mountains roads are often a bit scary - I've always been wondering what to do in case of upcoming traffic, or a road block. Going backwards for miles is not particularly something to look forward to... Does surprise me how many of those abandoned villages...

Hmm, had a Garmin GpsMap 60, a 62, now a 64, and do not encounter the problems you folks seem to have with the Montana. Difference might be in the antenna type/size though, a feature put in the spotlight when it comes to the GpsMap range, but not even mentioned for the Montana. As for driving...

My own Garmin experiences so far are to wait a bit with a purchase until all - at least most - of the bugs are out... I've had and have multiple handheld (and other) Garmin devices, currently a GpsMap 64 for outdoor use, but the 64 was one I did wait with to purchase until a while on the market...

Menu > settings > screen, to adjust your screen settings. You can connect the device to a usb port. How long the batteries can pull it, will be depending on type used, and internal settings.
