Amazing pic!! As to be expected from Canada :-)
I guess it should be known as the place of wonders and crazy geese haha....
I'm not sure if I could handle massive groups like that though..... for me 4 vehicles is a pretty big group but then I'm an auDHD (autism + ADHD) so my tolerances are...
Ah you're talking about BC
I really liked the "Slow Roamers" videos that pass through there!
But when looking at channels like "The Story Till Now" which I also enjoy watching, I get worried when they go in big groups... a convoy of 3+ vehicles
To me it just seems like a stampeed and I don't...
Thanks El-Dracho! Watching different videos as I did it is so confusing as the first video I published is very strict that even in snowfall you can't go on the road... does this apply to rain too as thats natural?
The next video I watched shows a vehicle clearly off the network... unless that...
I've been following many US and Canadian (can I use them in the same sentance?) Overland channels so I do understand what you're saying
I think the auto magazine out of Colorado says it the best though... forgot the name but they reviewed the 4Runner Trailhunter and took the Lexus GX550...
Well... yeah the current US DJI ban for a start.. uh!
But does anyone actually pay attention?
Saw this... also from Norway and to me this doesn't look like a "public road" or anywhere where you should camp given what has been said
No idea... just trying to work out what actually is...
Hi everyone,
I just saw this video:
and there are a few laws here from Norway that make me really puzzled....
So one little tab popped up and said that it was illegal to drive on Snow covered roads that are not regularly cleared as it's defined as "Nature" meaning illegal in Norway.
This...
There's also a company called Lido too that seems to have quite a few things:
https://www.lidoradio.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoqUsbmWoFIrVeNUJTkgjU19F1lf3xED52N5UGnzhd-wR2faoLw6
No idea if it's mix and match but reading up on it now :-)
- just in case anyone is interested
[EDIT]
RAM mounts also...
Actually I think I may have found 2 guys who use them... what I meant with table is like from the video above:
Looks like the auto generated captions say it's a laptop table! That makes sense..... I've seen a few HAM radio guys use things like that.
Found this too:
I'm sure this is...
Oh wow! Thats pretty cool!
Maybe one needs to DIY a table but I guess it should be easy from the right place
So Shawn, does this mean you can mix and match having a tablet holder and front plate of a 2-way radio??
Now I'm starting to see interesting possibilities :-)
Hopefully they're...
Cool! I tried checking up swivel tables but couldn't find any.... mostly got stuff for eating off of and not something that looks like a table and not a cooking tray lol
Not sure if the Bulletpoint stuff is modular? Would love to have a tablet mount with radio face plate mount on a different...
As I'm currently studying up on HAM radio and APRS I managed to find this:
https://www.bulletpointmountingsolutions.com/pages/universal-device-mounting-options
I'm sure one of the guys with multiple radios in his truck was using this brand - though I could be wrong?
Not sure if there are...
Hi... long time :-) hope you are well and everything is ok
Yeah that rig is nice! <3
I'm currently watching the Youtube channel Norweigan Xplorer who goes around in a Fiat Ducato van. Very nice camping in blizzards haha
I'm really starting to learn about practical meal solutions on the road...
Hi everyone,
it's been a while so a very belated Happy New Year to you all!
Unfortunately my health dipped for the worse and up till now I have not managed to find anyone who can help -as in doctor.....
Still my dream of overlanding properly is very much alive and in fact yesterday I...
