Hi, I’m Jon and I’m a college kid that wants to travel the western U.S extensively before I get a real career. I have a currently bone stock 2005 Chevy Suburban that I’m looking to modify to tackle old mining roads/passes to get to those hard to reach camping spots. Keeping my 20 mpg, keeping things on a budget, and keeping things simple are key. I’m really interested to learn about overlanding and how everyone modified their rigs.
