Totally agree, however I have seen a decline in activity. It's rare to see a Rally Point in my area. I do get out about once a month on average, and I have seen fewer folks on trails and more gear for sale. The flip side is great spots like this are not crowded any longer.

Thanks, should not have any issues. It's build for off-roading, 20" ground clearance, off road tires, spare tire, long arm coil suspension, etc. The guy i bought it from lived in Utah for several years and did a lot of back country exploring and said he never had an issue taking it anywhere.

Very interested in this trip, any restriction on trailers? Have a small off-road trailer I normally bring on trips.

I feel the same way, have used an Ignik Fire Can for the past several years. So much easier to just turn it off at nite. I usually carry a 20 lb propane on my trips. Both for cooking and fire place, will bring one with me.
