That sounds nice, however I work weekday afternoons and will not be able to attend.

    4Runner - Dual/Single battery

If you decide to run a dual setup, just install a battery isolator. You can pick one up at most auto parts stores, or an RV supply store. It will keep both batteries charged when your driving. Then it automatically isolates each battery when you turn the engine off. Allowing one battery to be...

    OB Approved Camping with Firearms

Actually, the law was changed in 2010, it is legal to carry concealed in national parks, as long as the state allows concealed carry which the park is located in. But it is not legal to carry in any building owned by the park service including bathrooms. They are considered federal buildings...

    OB Approved Camping with Firearms

Well, while a debate over which caliber is more powerful could go on for decades. Me personally I would not be caught dead with a revolver. They had their time and place, but some of us have moved on.

Are you talking about a 44 mag in a revolver?

    OB Approved Camping with Firearms

Yeah I researched it further after my last post. They are allowed in GCNP. The sign he's referring to is likely a sign for one of the buildings in the park where firearms are not allowed. Sent from my SM-G930V using OB Talk mobile app

    OB Approved Camping with Firearms

Ok. That may be well and true for the Grand Canyon. But your comment states firearms are not allowed at ANY national park. Which is false as I previously explained. Sent from my SM-G930V using OB Talk mobile app

    OB Approved Camping with Firearms

That statement is false. A concealed firearm is allowed in some national parks, just not inside any building or structure within the park, that includes restrooms. Because they are considered federal buildings. But in the park itself they are allowed. Sent from my SM-G930V using OB Talk mobile app

    OB Approved Camping with Firearms

Your right about that a bad actor can tell if you have what it takes or not. Just like a dog can sense fear in a person. And training is very important. Dry fire practice, aiming with both eyes open, muscle memory. What good is that tool if when it's needed you can't follow through or hit the...

    OB Approved Camping with Firearms

I'm not sure I understand your thought process about how you think it makes a "different class of citizen" how does carrying a firearm give me any rights that you don't have? You have the right to bear arms the same as anyone else (as long as your not a felon or prohibited for any other reason)...

    OB Approved Camping with Firearms

Very good information, I myself have a carry permit and carry everywhere every day. The only time I don't have it on me is at work, it's in my vehicle in a lock box that has a cable attached to my vehicle. Concealed Carry is not for everyone, it does require that you can use that tool if the...
