I believe you can put bikes even with the spare, but I don't have a carrier to try. You may need a longer tongue on the carrier. I don't have the water tank, and don't believe you can bottom mount the spare as an option at all, especially with water tank.

I know this is a dated thread, but did HT put in your upgraded suspension, and is it sufficient compared to the upgraded air bag links for general overloading, but not heavy off roading?
