Final Episode!
The story about how we got home was equally nerve-wracking to us, but probably not as dramatic of a story to tell you. Our last post found us making a mad dash for South Africa as borders were closing to international citizens to cut down the spread of Coronavirus. It's not as if...
You should check out the Stream. It is overall much more suited to overland travel. It is smaller and lighter, about 10 lbs. Also the LED UV system is much more robust and durable than the fragile glass and quartz UV systems. It doesn't put out as high a flow rate, but the functionality...
A Race for the Border
We last left our story on the high of seeing the lion and lioness saunter into the light of the water hole. It was exactly the kind of animal encounters we envisioned when we planned the trip. Unfortunately, while we were enjoying the animals and landscape of Etosha, the...
Part 4 - Namibia
Namibia is an unbelievable country. It's incredibly expansive and has a population density of about 3 people per square kilometer, making it one of the world's least populated countries. It has straight gravel roads and big skies for miles and miles. We felt like a lot of it...
@Get Out GO not done yet! Part 3!
After spending a night and doing a morning game drive in Augrabies Falls, we headed toward the Kgaldari Transfrontier Park, which we had heard was a must-see. The park sits on the borders of South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia, and is managed by all three...
Part 2
When I last left you, we were exploring Cape Town. Given the chance, I would have spent about two more days visiting that beautiful city, but our time was limited to exactly what Doogie had between his two events so it was a weekend of sightseeing and then we were on our way. Rooftop...
Expresso machine at home broke down, so I ordered an Aeropress from www.cafewerks.com. It makes surprisingly good coffee! Not sure it will be the at home tool for much longer, but will be great for camping.
Blog Post Here
In March 2020, half of Team Guzzle H2O had the opportunity to do some overlanding in Southern Africa. If you've read the About Us page, you may know that Guzzle H2O co-founder, and my husband, Sean "Doogie" Couvreux, races highly competitive sailboats for his day job. For the...
We are planning on being at the NW Overland Rally. Tours of our factory are by appointment, hit us up at info@guzzleh2o.com and we can arrange something or product demos off site.
Hey everyone, my name is Tyler from Guzzle H2O. Do you ever google yourself?? Actually I was googling the name of our company to see how our SEO was doing, and I found this thread, where the original post was a question about our products.
I’m not chirping in to give a hard sell on our gear...
Will be running the Guzzle H2O booth at Overland Expo in the north plaza. Driving down from Oregon, hitting some mountain bike trails between here and there.
Please stop by to connect!
I have had a fiberglass tank for over 10 years as part of our boating and van camping kit. The reduced weight makes them super nice, and it seems like it does less beating up of the gear around it. And of course you can see how much propane is left.
