US East NOVA Meet and Greet

@cgflyer Thank you for invitation and hosting! Sorry I missed it. :\ Didn't pick up on invite until it was already over. Hoping there will be more DMV events. Modest but lifted Subaru Forester here. Good enough for some fun trails, mild enough for comfortable daily driving.

US East Northern VA / MD Monthly Meetups

Thanks, @Exped4x4! :grinning: Good to hear a date is in the works! Any sense as to location and trails? Would be nice to get out of town and get some real dirt on the Subaru, as opposed to a blanket of pollen from beeches and other trees in the hood.

Welcome, @ngurney! From one new member to another new member. Being that I'm a fellow Subaru driver, I'd vote for sticking with your Outback. However, having recently spent a week in Moab, I can understand the allure of wanting a bigger vehicle. Lots of different possibilities, both in...

    Subaru Owners Registry

Excellent thread! Glad to see so many overland bound Subarus representing! :grinning: MY06 Forester here. LL Bean Edition in green, aka "the Green Bean." 1" strut top lift from Primitive. King HD springs. Yoko AT-R's on Sparco Terra (I think) wheels. 21 Subarus going off-road in PA? That is...

Agreed 100-percent! And as far as off-road modified Subarus, Oregon is almost as good as Australia. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to visit and tour both PNW and Down Under at some point.

US East Northern VA / MD Monthly Meetups

I'm in DC, so sandwiched between MD and NoVa. Just joined the forum, and hope to catch up with local members eventually. I run a MY06 Subaru Forester with a 1" lift, HD springs, and all-terrain tires. So mostly interested in established trails, rather than hardcore off-roading. That said, as...

First post here. Longtime overland and off-road tourer. Being that I drive a Subaru "soft-roader," I appreciate the open mindset with "it doesn't matter what you drive." :grinning: Currently I run a MY06 Subaru Forester with a 1" lift and King springs. It's my ideal everyday vehicle. Practical...
