We bought a Sportz Truck Tent, blue and gray to match the truck. We haven't had a chance to use it yet, but we did set it up on the truck to test fit.

Grab some food, water, a map, get an experienced buddy to roll with (easy to find here), make a plan, and then GO! Your truck is quite sufficient to get started on the average trails. Once you've taken a few trips, you will have a better idea of what might be best for you to add/modify.

I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on ToyTec BOSS 3″ Lift Kit to achieve more ground clearance with decent suspension boost. I got the idea from Wanderlost Overland video. Anyone else roll with this kit?

Elmira is just North of Veneta, very close to Fern Ridge Lake on Hwy 126, heading west out of Eugene. Mapleton is at the intersection of Hwy 36 and 126, a logging town on the Siuslaw river, which flows out at Florence.
