So about me eh? Well my name is Dani, I also go by the name Dan but never Daniel. My nickname is Camel because I love me some water. Used to be in the tuner car scene years back, but when you get speeding tickets left and right with CHP and Sheriff knowing you (not in a good way) things need to change. One fateful night of speeding and racing, I got popped. Had to sell my car and change my vehicle life style. So my buddy, mylilpwny, and I went searching for a diesel truck. You know, slow, big, make me not want a heavy right foot... mistakes were made after I was an unofficial member with my buddy in a diesel truck club. Got my truck, found out it was a federal emission truck, and the mods came right after. I got stung by the diesel bug, more like I main line the green pump directly in my arm...
Fast forward till recently, my buddy got me back into the idea of camping. Not having been since I was in the boyscouts, I decided to grab some basic gear and await what the future of overlanding or at least a few days off grid away from the nose grinding headaches of the industry I work in and city. When it comes to offroading, overlanding, camping I'm a baby novice, but from this groups attitude I can see some of the most welcoming and down to earth people here. Hope to learn and see some of ya'll in the bush!

Cobra 29 WX NW ST CB radio with 5' firestik, and a Midland MXT115 15 Watt GMRS radio.
Future plans are contractor DCU shell for camping/work and much better suspension. Since it's my every day truck I keep battling over either keeping the IFS or maybe do a SAS.
