Won't be able to make it after all. Turns out the rig needs the rear axels replaced due to a common manufactures defect. Probably best I stay behind lest my wheels (and rotors) are likely to snap right off.

So this is kind of encouraging for EV overloading. However, I'm a suspect that they got such good range with a heavier camper than the Project M used with the TFL video segment, more a aggressive AT tires, and traveling on dirt road.

I've been pretty light on the gas pedal too. Usually in Eco mode with EV and brake training enabled most of the time. Try to stay in electric mode as much as I can. Only driven in sport mode for mile. I'm hoping I didn't just get a bum engine and that maybe I just need to take longer...

What kind of hot water heater are you using? I've got a Joolca and water doesn't get more than 110F and takes a bit of time to ramp, so I can't imagine getting much radiant heat from that.
