Scent Free baby wipes, hit the hotspots, and pack in what I pack out. Anything that smells nice will attract bugs.

Father and son's classic and new Jeep Gladiator builds

My 12 JKU is just getting broken in at 213k miles. Mostly highway miles as my wife commuted in it 120-160 miles per day for two years.

    2019 Jeep JLUR "Drengr"

I bet going from a YJ to a JLU was life changing. I noticed a huge difference going from a TJ to a JKU. Is that Old Stage Road?

What do you use for camp light?

I headlamp it and use those Duracell lights from Costco. They work okay and don't take up much space. The power button could be larger but overall I have no real complaints. Left one in a storage unit powered up on accident and came back several days later and it was low on juice but still...

Father and son's classic and new Jeep Gladiator builds

Very nice. I miss having a truck. I always find myself folding seats and dodging the front headrest in my JKU. I consider myself a mild wheeler so may go Gladiator for my next ride. Plus sleeping off the ground but under the stars is always nice.

    New from NY.

That seems like a great trip. The Sand Dunes and Moab are amazing.

    New from NY.

Colorado has amazing trails. Get ready for some huffing and puffing. I lived in Colorado Springs for 4 years and there's a ton in the city itself. Palmer Park has good technical riding with some sections to get good flow going. Ute Valley is okay. Falcon Trail at the Academy is an A+ trail and...

Welcome. I used to ride up by Stewart Airport. I think Stewart State Forest it was called. Welcome from the Alaskan Interior.

    Holiday Spill Kits

Awesome idea. We had a pressurized line come loose at our FARP (Army Helicopter Gas Station) and shoot fuel down a dirt landing strip. Those guys did a ton of digging to get that spill up.

    Trailworthy/Sleep inside?

If you are looking for relatively new and as capable off road as your Jeep, then the 4Runner or JKU/JLU would probably be your best bet. You'll give up breakover angle but if you were considering a Compass, that isn't an issue though the Mrs' Cherokee Trailhawk has surprised me off road. I just...

    Gravel Bikes

I'm a bit of a drive from SLC but do love a good romp on gravel. I started cycling with mountain biking but then got into gravel with a Diamondback Haanjo Trail. I love that I can ride some singletrack but also coast along on bikeways.

Zach's CO Jeep Build (2012 JKUR)

A few months ago I had a run in with bullwinkle. The ARB front bumper took the brunt of the damage but kept her from coming through the windshield. Waiting on the new bumper to come in so it can get in the body shop. I also have some recovery gear coming in. Got some soft shackles and two snatch...

That Gladiator looks great. OBX? I'm going to hold out for the diesel and then maybe I'll grab one.

My 2014 Jeep jk Rubicon 2,8 crd

Very nice. I think I speak for all of us that can't have the diesel when I say that I'm jealous.
