I’m a retired Army guy, born and raised on the upper coast of Texas, now living in the beautiful Texas hill country. I grew up on dirt bikes, in Jeeps and 4x4 trucks and hunting & fishing are my favorite pastimes - love being outdoors! I have been interested in off grid camping/living for a while now but until recently was not in a position to do anything about this new urge. Now I am ready, beginning with my truck. I was happy to discover this group, and am glad to be here. Hope to see y’all on the trail somewhere.
